Gloucestershire
This group of images are mainly taken from postcards, most of which were never sent and are undated but seem to cover the period from about 1910 to the 1930s. Two of the images (St Briavels and Brockweir) are large format professional prints that were probably taken by Edmund Ballard, some of whose photos were given to Helen Kegie by his daughter (Ballard’s wife Ada was a sister to Helen Kegie’s grandmother). A larger group of similar topographical views from the same set appear in the Monmouthshire section.
